I started a blog called ‘The World and other Things’. It’s about real graffiti, reading the bible, hidden hotels, famous names, parallel universes, flags that are upside down, and some more stuff. I even wrote a poem where I captured the entire history of our planet. Have look around. The blog’s three days old, so has about a post or ten, but I try to post something new (or old) at least a few times a week. Unless there’s nothing going on ofcourse.

Since a while now I have been involved in the organisation of a new Platform that represents independent professionals working in the visual arts sector. Since the announcement of the budget cuts on arts and culture by Rutte I, it was clear that the visual arts sector was poorly organised. This was illustrated once more when the BTW rate for the cultural sector was lowered to six percent for the performing arts and not for the visual arts. With the launch of Platform BK we want to organise ourselves in a better way, so that our sector too can respond with a strong voice to the destructive policy that is carried out right now.
